Rumahku

The RumahKu portal specially created by Agensi Kaunseling dan Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK) is an online financial education module. It is aimed at assisting potential borrowers in understanding and managing their finances effectively prior to purchasing a home and obtaining financing.

Who should join the financial education module?

First-time home buyers who apply for financing under the Bank Negara Malaysia’s RM1 billion Fund for Affordable Homes. This online module is a mandatory requirement for them.

This online module is also for potential borrowers who are interested in understanding their financial commitments prior to purchasing a home.

What will the financial education module cover?

There will be quick and easy self-assessments on the financial commitments related to purchasing a home. This includes a calculator to determine the monthly loan repayment for the home that the borrower intends to purchase and a calculator to determine their monthly expenses and commitments.

The module also covers one’s financial and non-financial commitments and obligations that need to be taken into consideration when applying for home financing.

How much will the financial education module cost?

The module is available to everyone at no charge.
